Calldorado Appoints New Senior VP of Product in a Year of Major Expansion
In a year of substantial expansion for Calldorado, the Danish AdTech innovator has announced the appointment of Jacob Dinesen as their new Senior VP of Product. Jacob will be managing all major product developments at Calldorado, from concept through to completion, bringing together the varied skills from all departments within the company.
Dinesen’s tech experience and knowledge comes from a variety of industries, most recently public transport where he managed two huge IT projects. The first was Designing Greyhound (USA) buses’ new onboard passenger platform. This included everything from the UI over the virtualized server architecture in the buses to how three companies’ deliverables could be coordinated for physical installation in the buses themselves. The second was to build a next-generation demo train with Hitachi integrating all available data from cameras and sensors into providing a vision for the passenger experience of the future. This included two patents. One for luggage tracking and another for managing the occupancy of the seats in the train.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jacob to our growing team of specialists. His skills in realizing major projects to their full potential with such big organizations will be a great asset to Calldorado and help the continued drive and growth of our business into the future,” said Mathias Schroeder, COO and Co-founder of Calldorado.
“As Calldorado continues its growth and expansion, many new innovations and developments are taking place daily, and these need to be guided through to realization” commented Jacob Dinesen. My specialism is in taking technology-based ideas from their basic concept, designing a possible solution, motivating teams to collaborate and create a proof-of-concept – and if this succeeds – then to make a plan for transforming the original idea into a product.”
Jacob continued: “Calldorado is a fast-growing and hugely innovative business so my main objective is to formalize procedures and use streamlined methods to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness, but without affecting creativity, innovation, and ingenuity. I need to maintain the spirit of Calldorado which has led to such a large output of creative thinking!”
Calldorado is a privately held company which now employs over 50 specialist staff, most of whom are based in its head offices in Kongens Lyngby (Copenhagen), Denmark.
