Warning: Underfunding is a major threat to mobile app development

More developers are committed to mobile app development, but consumer app and game trend may cause funding problems.

The App Developers’ Alliance just released an extensive global survey of software developers. Some of the key findings were that,

”Mobile software development is now the norm. About 87% of respondents are engaged in mobile development, and 18% cited organizational commitment to a mobile-first approach.”

The survey furthermore showed that the consumer apps and games revolution continues to build momentum – and is likely to soon overtake development of business applications.

Catering to consumers rather than relying on the relative security in taking on a project from a business may link to one of the more depressing findings of the survey, which is that,

“40% of developers cited underfunding or a lack of resources as the cause of software projects failing.“

While Calldorado cannot help with the initial funding, implementing Calldorado’s caller ID ad technology can certainly make a difference in funding the continued development of consumer apps and games.

In fact, Calldorado offers guaranteed minimum monthly earnings.

Tak a look at how the Simple Notepad app used Calldorado to 10-fold ad revenue within one month.

As a cherry on top Calldorado now offers a sign up bonus to new customers signing up before March 1st.
